I think it's an awesome build, and if I were to want one of that size, that is exactly what I would do. Tons of build threads on livewells with pet feeders :) I'm just sayin that if one were to want something bigger :) for those who are obsessive compulsive and want one to fit the rear storage well, just perfect :D

In fact, after looking at it closer, you could probably fit 2 of those side by side. When I refer to livewell, I think something to put fish that you catch in. Other people think something to put bait in....Some of the fish you can catch (largemouth, stripers, channel cats) wouldn't fit in there. At least if they did, they wouldn't survive long :) That is unless there were only a couple in there... Just my $.02.

Curt....i see what you are saying.....i dont freshwater fish so those species dont apply to me.....the only reason im keeping reds, trout, or flounder is for table fare anyways so down here in Texas we usually just throw them on a stringer or in the cooler.....

Which is probably what I would do also. Live wells are too much of a PIA if you ask me. If it's going on the table, does it matter if it dies? :) Of course, they do say it's good to put them on ice ASAP, but, the water has worked for me for 20 years....or however long I have been fishing.
