MrGreen, that's a great pic!!! I wish I could crawl into my front hatch and fall asleep. That has to be the youngest hobie passenger ever. Awesome!!!!

I have been thinking of selling my PA because my little girl has been wanting to go with me. I thought it wasn't legal to have her come along because it only has one seat. Am I wrong and can put a seat on there like the one in the pic behind me? If so my daughter will be excited I can take her.

I'm not aware of any boating laws in any state that specifies the number of passengers that can be carried in a canoe or kayak. I know "Jet Ski-type" craft have restrictions but I can't think of any others. Take her with you!!

Thank you kindly. I'm looking forward to getting him back on the water this year but now that he is crawling and moving around, I might not be able to fish as much when he is with me.

Oh I though since it had one seat you had to have one person in it. I'm gonna take her with me soon and try it out.

There's no warning label or documentation that I'm aware of that says it's a one person vessel. I agree with the concept of the canoe/kayak label. As long as each person has a life preserver or approved flotation device I would think you would be just fine.

My kids are out of the house now, but when the time comes for grandkids, I would definitely consider carrying one with me. Great way to get them interested in fishing!
