I can have my PA in the water in less than 30 seconds off the trailer, already loaded and absolutely no lifting or straining..., sorry just not understanding how car-topping is easier/quicker to load and unload than a trailer.
I didn't say it was. I said it is takes less time for me to get the PA on/off the roof of the SUV, than it was previously for me to get a Jon boat on/off a trailer. It's one of the reasons I got rid of the Jon Boat and trailer, and got a PA instead - to simplify the process. I don't need the trailer, motor, and gas with a PA instead of a Jon Boat. Life is more simpler with just the PA. Slides on up/off the SUV easily, no trailer required. I have to lift half the boat to get it on/off the SUV same as I would the trailer, although it's higher it's not that difficult at all. I can then easily wheel the PA thru my gate into my backyard or wherever, and into my basement if I want for example for the winter; and I no longer have to leave a trailer, with it's own registration and maintenance, taking up space in my driveway. I pull my PA off the SUV, load it up, lock up the car and walk it to the water. I dont have to drive a trailer off the ramp and to a parking space.
