Thanks for the info on Photobucket. Here's the photo of my new battery box. Hopefully I'll be on the water this weekend to see if it made any difference.

Another possible option that works. Yes, the tub still still fits perfectly. The battery holders do not interfere with the placement or the closing of the front storage lid.

The front is where initially had my battery mounted in the Hobie battery holder on the sail post. I moved it to the middle to see if it made any difference in handling or bow drop when I stepped forward. I went fishing yesterday and I don't think it made any difference at all. At least none that I noticed. I may move it back up front just for the sake of using more storage under the center hatch. Not sure yet if I will of not.
