As stated, It will always wear longer when maintained, but it will clean a lot easier if you apply a coat of protectant before you go out each trip. The protectant fills the pores instead of the "dirt".

Installed my SeaDeck not long ago. What protectant do you recommend?
Thanks!

Would be even better if it had 'Pedal Fishin' on it - not too many people paddling a Pro Angler - but everyone Pedals them!
Looks very nice!

Sorry for the slow / no reply Sgvarn

Somehow my notifications from this forum got into my spam folder and I had not seen your question before.

I use 303 protectant on my decking ( and Hull ) and have had good luck with it. I originally just put it on for UV protection as that is the biggest enemy of EVA. Quickly I noticed it cleaned up a lot easier after an application of it just before an outing. At that time I was fishing about 4-5 days a week regardless of weather and got int eh habit of doing PM before almost every trip. When I sold that yak earlier this year the foam looked to be about 20% of its real age and it had had a very hard life.

Good luck, Phill
