Has anyone put something on their keel to protect it when going ashore?
Thanks

3 layers of Gorilla tape!
Don't laugh, it works and is low cost.

KeelEazy works great. Just make sure to follow directions for good adhesion.

[URL=http://s350.photobucket.com/user/bigbow0u812/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20160713_124615_resized_zpskbuimmro.jpg.html]ImageThis is a pic of my pro-angler 12. After using the boat for a few trips I noticed where the most wear was showing and its only a 1.5 inch wide area down each bottom section. I applied a 2 inch wide strip of Keeleazy centered down each bottom section and it is taking all the wear and is adhered very well for over 2 years. The front section has some black gorilla tape over the keeleazy because there is much more wear there. I also use boat ramps alot, so when I'm done fishing I carry all the loose stuff to my truck then bring back a 3'x8' piece of old linoleum to the boat, lay the boat on its side on the linoleum, place the cart under and away I go. Its all about coming up with a system that works for you.
