Ordered Boondox along with a longer bar to fit PA12's and 14's. I was told on the 2017 year model, you will need 2 washers per side to clear the H-bar, so I had to make a quick run to a hardware store. Installation was fairly easy, I took some extra time measuring and laying it out properly before drilling holes into the hull. I used a thick wire to run that aluminum long washer and was able to align it with my 2 holes without issues. It makes loading and unloading into a trailer a breeze now. Setup like this should come from factory
Here are some pictures of the project.

Hey thanks for the post. I just received my own Landing Gear and if the weather cooperates I'll be tackling the installation over the weekend. I appreciate the heads up about the washers, I checked and it looks like I'll stopping by the hardware store. (only two washers in the box) The pictures are great, thanks again.

Very nice installation and looks to be a good solution for transporting, over land, your new PA14!

Carpet addition to the PVC bunks made it much better looking and more stable. These are 12 feet by 11 inches wide. I sanded down the pvc, cleaned it with alcohol and then used carpet glue to tack it down. At first I used zipties to hold the carpet down, but others area were sticking. Had some mini shrink wrap at home and worked like a charm. Shrink wrap gave it nice even and consistent tension thru out the whole area. Waiting on another set of rolls to do the second side of pvc bunks.
