Will the Hobie TotalScan mount or a TotalScan transducer make contact with the ground (or my trailer) if the kayak is placed on a flat surface?

I'm interested in upgrading from an Elite 4x to the Elite 7 Ti with TotalScan, but I can't find any definitive information as to whether or not side scanning will work properly while still allowing the kayak to sit on a flat surface without damaging the transducer or mount. My concern is more about sliding it up on my flat trailer, not bumping it against things while in the water.

Any insight would be appreciated.

if you set the PA directly on the ground it will be resting on the TotalScan transducer (not recommended). Foam blocks, or something similar, on the ground to give the transducer some clearance is would do the trick.
