I recently experienced my first belt break and had replaced it with the appropriate Gates product. I went through and did all the appropriate adjustments, including the belt tension to which the tube is about halfway to it's maximum. Since getting this replacement done, I've found that the 360 drive has a tendency to stick momentarily, almost as if the teeth are still getting stuck despite having the right adjustment. I cant get it unstuck without fluttering the drive pedals while wiggling the 360 handle. I know that this is the right belt tension adjustment because I have tried to tighten more, and have slowly backed off to ensure it is done right. This issue tends to be present mostly when turning it to the left. There is also a pretty hasty screeching noise from the clutch assembly when the drive is not in place after a number of rotations. How do I know if my steering mechanism needs to be warrantied? Right now I am leaning to that point.
