Lowrance Hook Reveal 5 Tranducer Extender Pro Angler 12

I recently received a Lowrance Hook Reveal 5 as a gift and when trying to install onto my 2016 Pro Angler 12, the standard Lowrance Ready transducer plate and mounting location is too small. The transducer is wider than the slow for it to sit in. Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone know of a potential extension plate that sits 1"-2" lower than the stock plate that could be used to mount this new transducer?

If it is a sidescan unit you need Hobie part # 72020207 or equivalent.

I don't think that either of those would work. The issue is that the new transducer is too large for the opening under the lowrance ready cover, so I would need a cover that basically just sits an inch lower than the flush mount that the kayak came with. I appreciate the suggestions though!
