I have a Hobie Outback and just purchased a Pro Angler because it is easier to stand up in for long periods red fishing. I want a push pole that will also serve as an anchor. Does anyone have a recommendation on a push pole that works well. I am 6 feet and need to be able to pole in 2-3 feet of water to spot red fish. Yak attack has an 8 ft model that can be extended to 12 feet, but it looks very flimsy for pushing a kayak, probably fine as an anchor. It would be really helpful if the diameter of the pole was small enough to fit thru the scupper hole for a quick anchor.
