Hi
Went forward with the Lure 13.5, receiving it on Monday

and looking so much forward. (my heart wanted a hobie, but my wallet didnt, this time...)
And I will be flying to Denmark on Wednesday to come back with the motor at the beginning of June, so things are picking up nicely.
I will keep sharing my plans and updates until somebody kicks me out... sorry for the spam-length and over-detailed write ups, but I am very excited and would appreciate any inputs/ideas which can help me on the way.
All scupper holes and the sonar pod will be sealed off, plastic welded and sanded down except 1 scupper aft. and 1 scupper under the seat will be kept open in the top and connected with 13/10mm plastic hose inside the hull -> 10mm brass T connector -> Seaflo 12v4A (240LPH) bilgepump -> through hull/exit somewhere at the back of the kayak,
Some wiring thoughts:

And some thoughts on estimated battery consumption for a 10 hour daytrip
House battery:
1 hour bilge pump = 48wh
1 hour with lights on = 1x22wh = 22wh
10 hours GPS/sonar = 10x11wh = 110wh
Total 180 wh
12v20Ah Lithium battery = 240wh
Remaining estimated capacity after 10 hour daytrip:
240-180wh = 60wh or 25%
Motor battery:
1½ hour to location (6-7mph) = 1½ x 400wh = 600wh
3 hours of trolling (6-7mph)= 3 x 400wh = 1.200wh
4 hours drifting and chasing fish = 4 x 100wh = 400wh
1½ hour back home (6-7mph) = 1½ x 400wh = 600wh
Total 2.800wh
51,8v80Ah Lithium battery = 4.144wh
Remaining estimated capacity after 10 hour daytrip:
4.144-2.800wh = 1.344wh or 32%
