Does anyone know what the recommended distance between the two cradles is? Looking to retrofit a jet ski trailer with Hobie cradles for a 17t.

I'll measure later tonight but it's either 60 or 72 inches i think.

Yeah I figured they should be placed at about each 1/3 of the yak. I noticed that you don't have anything holding the yak at the bow (sorry, don't know technical term for the piece). Any reason why?

So my dealer said folks didn't like the bow stops because it marked up the yaks so for mine there is a strap that is stitched to a certain length and I wrap it around the front handle and the it goes back on both sides to the cross member. Then I push the yak up till it gets tight and put a ratchet strap on the back. Don't really like the set up and I had them order me a bow stop, just need to go pick it up.
