It was time that I started rigging out the Pro Angler and wanted to share it with you guys.

First I needed to get some GearTrac to mount on the PA so I could mount my depth finder, rod holders, camera mounts and transducer. I wanted to mount my equipment this way so I could move it from yak to yak.

GearTrac Installation:

First off let me tell you how easy this is to install. YakAttack will send everything you need with the exception of a drill.

Image

I placed the GearTrac where I wanted them on the side plates. Take the drill bit provided and drilled two holes at first. I forgot to take a picture of me drilling out the second hole so I placed the bit on top of the screw where it needs to be.

After screwing the screws on each side, drill out the rest of the holes where the screws are to be place. This away the holes will all line up. Tighten the screws by hand to make sure you don't strip out the holes.

I put the GearTrac on both side plates in order to move stuff around. Here are a few pictures of the finished product.

All of my gear installed on the GearTrac is held on by either a 1" or 1 1/2" ScrewBall from YakAttack.

Look for this post for more to come.

Very nice.

If you get an H-bar, can it be installed on the geartrac?

Where do you order those tracks at ? Also does the hardware for the rod holders come standard to fit into the tracks ? I want 4 rod holder and couple sets of those tracks to outfit my two PA's. The setup is awesome, good work.

Here is a picture of the Screwball that YakAttck makes for all Ram type rod holders, depth finders and other products.

The rods holders clamp down on the Screwball. I can't remember which model rod holder I have but will look it up.

It's a homemade transducer arm and the transducer is what came with my 597ci HD DI.

You bet. It will have to be in the morning when I have some light. I have a rigging/ fishing clinic at Mariner-Kayaks tomorrow so I'll post the pics at the show.

You will be able to find them in stock at lots of the local Kayak Pro Shops. If you can't you can find the tracks here.

If you get the 1 1/2" screwball.
http://www.yakattack.us/Products/Products.html

That will allow you to mount ram rod holders like this one.

Dude, I'm sorry I didn't get a picture yet. I went fishing after the show on Saturday and fished Sunday. When the weather clears up I'll get you some pictures.
