Like some have said....the Scotty 245 requires some type of shim between the PA's grab handle and the 245 to get it to be tight enough around the rail. I used 4 wraps of duct tape and got a pretty good grip on the 245 and rail, after tightening the 2 bolts, and set screws. But there was still alittle flex from the 245 while attached to the grab rail while having a fishing rod in the Scotty rod holder. Heres what I did...3 3/4" stainless sheet metal screws through the Scotty 245, which pierced the aluminum grab rail. Now the 245 doesn't slip or flex at all on the grab handle :D
