Picked up my brand new PA 12 from Kayaks by Bo in Titusville today.

I realize most of you here aren't from this area, but lemme tell you - I've almost never in my life had such a pleasant buying experience on anything. Tom and Ms Lynn are wonderful people, and very knowledgeable about their products. Showed me everything about the boat I could think of to ask, and then some.
And when Steve and Steve showed up, I got even more tips (for anyone worried about the weight of these boats, just get the Hobie cart and you won't care that it's over 100lbs...)

I was ready to hit the water before I bought it. Now I'm DYING to.

Saturday will be my maiden voyage. I'm taking her to Lake Washington just down the street to get used to her. And hopefully to snag a couple largemouth along the way.
If you're in the Central FL/Melbourne area and wanna join, I'll be at the dock on LW Drive right around daybreak. If you're not and just wanna talk about how awesome this dang boat is, or any fishing tips, I'd love to hear from you.

RTR
Matt

Yes, they are.
Sometimes you walk into a store/dealer and get that prey feeling - you just know the shop owners are circling, ready to pounce and gobble every last cent you have and more. And sometimes you walk into a store and it feels like you've been invited over to a neighbor's house for coffee and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. With kayaks all over their living room.

Tom and Ms Lynn are doing things the right way, and they'll have my business as long as I can still paddle. Or pedal, in this case.

Same here: congrats!
Keep watching this forum. You'll get a lot of expert information, as I did, from owners that know their stuff.
You probably have a few ideas already on how you're going to rig your new baby. Don't be afraid to ask a
question if you're wondering if your way is the best way. We're all here to help you. Or at least put in our 2 cents.

Well look what the gator dragged in. Welcome aboard Matt. You are kayak experienced - this will be no sweat at all. Just remember to lift the mirage and rudder before beaching and you'll be in high cotton. Oh and go ahead - stand up. :)

Tight lines and slime!
