Do you remove the black inserts already on the PAs or put the SeaDek padding over them?

Rudi,

If you're using the decking made from my templates, leave the black foot pads installed and put the SeaDek over them. Lay the SeaDek on that area first to make sure it's level enough for you and has no "hump". If there is a slight "hump" or raised side, you can sand down the black foot pads a little. I didn't have to.

Lay out all the pieces before you remove the adhesive backing to get an idea on how they will apply.
