I am considering the purchase of the Lowrance Elite 4 HDI and wanted to be sure the transducer fits with the Lowrance ready spot on the 2014 Pro Angler.

Apparently the unit comes with the "83/200kHz + 455/800kHz transducer".

Has anybody installed this transducer and does it fit comfortably?

Thanks in advance...I did search to check but could not confirm this specific transducer.

This 83/200 transducer will fit. The wider 50/200 version will not fit (failing of the Hobie designers that has yet to be corrected).

Anybody know if the 2015 hull is any different? Will it accommodate longer or wider transducers? I am thinking about upgrading to a 2015 PA14, and would like to be able to use the Raymarine Dragonfly instead of the "standard" Lowrance or Humminbird transducers. Anybody know if this would fit on the 2015 hull?
