Had a rough go at it recently. Other PA owners might find this of interest. All I can say is that the design of the PA may need to be looked at with regards to the scuppers under the Vantage seat. When the front footwell was filled with water and breakers continuing to crash into me, the PA became very unstable due to the water not evacuating out quick enough. The scuppers are actually elevated relative to the rest of the deck due to the bolsters inside the hull to support the seat. The drive opening doesn't evacuate quick enough for large breakers btw.

Loved my Pro Angler 14s while I had them for over two years, but now I know not to use them in breakers with short sets. I'm sure it handles smaller sets just fine, but 3'+ breakers heading out and 5'+ on the return is a no go

Seeing Red (the hunt for bull reds over 46")....

Enjoy!

I haven't had that same issue, but I have wondered about that same very thing.

BTW, I'm just south of you in Elizabeth City and willing to head out and target bull reds. I've been tearing up reds OTF all summer down at Oregon Inlet so I'm game to hit up the CBBT.

I'll keep that in mind! Thanks for the invite! It's cold water species for me now - Tautog and big stripers in the bay and possibly big specks if the weather is right. I need to slime my new Outback soon! I already slimed my new Quest 13.
