I just picked up my new 2015 pa and my vantage seat is having problems going into high position. It this cause it's new? I can make it going into the kickstand but if I stand I will have to help it get back into the stand cause it barely touches the stand. Any help is thankful.

It could have been bent in transport. It's an easy fix...place the front two legs on the ground, place your feet over the 'feet' portion, grab the back legs and tug up slightly. Test fit to see if it seats properly, if not...repeat until it does. Just tug a bit at a time.

It can happen if you try to change from high positon to low or back. If put too much weight forward while changing positions, you can bend the front legs.

That's exactly what I did. Fixed the problem. I had posted it on a Facebook group for pro angler owners. That's what they recommend for me to do. Thanks for the info. Now I am just ready to put it into the water

Without being disrespectful. These kayaks are a premium product, if the seat is brand new and bent why not request a replacement from dealer
