I was interested in doing Seadeck for the TI, but I would have to do the work of coming up with a pattern for them and I wasn't sure how much it would cost in the long run. I plan on hakas at some point and depending on if I go wood or plastic spine board I might consider putting it on the spine board. It looked nice though and I noticed most of the boats with swim platforms at the boat show had some sort of Seadeck material on them. As for the 17T I would think it could increase the resale value as long as you stayed with something neutral. Go with a crazy color and you might have trouble trying to sell.

Let me know when yo pick up your TI if you need a sailing partner. The water at Zorinsky today was 56-60. I waded in to recover the yak and it was chilly but not numbing.

I think we plan on doing Cunningham on Sunday for the maiden voyage.

What is that white & black bracket mounted on the rear of the 17t? (not the platform)

I put a SeaDek kit on my PA12 and pulled up the factory pad.

What is that color option and how does it compare to the factory pad in softness/firmness?

The SeaDek is much more comfortable than the factory pad. There are over a dozen colors available as well.
