That was funny! :D Thanks for being humble enough to share it. I'm sure next time you will take it off first!

Your not alone, I just had to buy a recharge kit for my Mustang. I was trying to get on shore and my leg buckled under me and I wound up in the water, poof. Luckily I had a spare PFD. Sorry, no vid.

Maybe I won't get a Go Pro...... LOL. That is just the kind of thing that would happen to me. Thanks for sharing.

That is exactly the reason why I never installed the cartridge on mine. I opted for doing the manual inflation method. I just knew I'd hit the water in a recreational situation forgetting it was on and poof! Thanks for sharing-pretty funny.

It's good to know that I'm not the only one.

I have had one go off in my truck ( just a long time of high humidity I guess ) and one go off after "somebody" put it in a almost dry ice chest for transport. That is when I found out that the "spindle" is nothing more than a small do-nut made of salt. water will melt it in a heartbeat and give you a heart attack in the process.

this last few weeks, I was luck enough to find Academy clearing out re-arm kits for various models and score 4 for under $30 total. NOt that I plan any more practice inflations.
