My 2013 Pro Angler 12 (which I bought used) recently developed a separation in the bottom edge of the seat - does anyone know the best way to repair this?

FWIW, I find it VERY disappointing that the seat is coming apart in a kayak that is barely 2 years old and is stored indoors.

Thanks,

Terry

I believe this was a known issue, so contact your dealer to file a claim. I believe they will still honor it.

I contacted the local dealer (Lowergear Rentals) and they said Hobie would give me a new seat bottom and it's on the way. Awesome customer support! :)

Thanks for the advice,

T

I had the exact same rip on my 2012 pa 12 and dropped it off at my local dealer this past Friday . Got a call today and said that hobie replaced the whole seat under warranty so I pick up my new seat today

They are confused a bit... we replace the fabric, not the entire seat.
