I have uploaded a picture to this post so hopefully it goes through. But there is an indentation below the rear left deck pad. Any idea what this is? I purchased the kayak in May '15 and have used it less than 10 times. Is there a hole in the kayak in this area??

 Just open the rectangular hatch close by, remove the tackle boxes and feel the underside with your hand or use a inspection mirror and flashlight if needed.

Yes, it feels like there is some foam there which wraps around some support I think? Can anyone from Hobie confirm this isn't an issue? Thanks.

There are scupper tubes that attach the deck to the hull bottom all along the deck to support the weight. They're on all PA17t's

My PA14 has holes under the foot pads too. They were covered with black tape when I pulled the pads off.

You can pull the pads off, determine what the hole is, contact Hobie, and then stick it back on. The only reason I say this is I put in after market flooring (Sea Deck)which require removing the factory pads. I repurposed those pads for the bow hatch so my dogs can run around the whole deck and not slip.
As soon as I figure out how to post pictures I will. Hope this helps!
Also, do you Fish Lake Mead??

Hesitant to pull up the factory pads as I'm concerned they will either bubble or not stick again. And Yes I fish Lake Mead.
