I have a friend whose about 240 to 250 lbs and wish to buy PA14.
Can someone who is close to this weight share their experience please? Is there any change on the flooring? Can the seat handle this weight? Please share your experience. There's nothing to demo so will just rely on someone's experience.

FYI: Max capacity is rated at 600 lbs for a PA 14.

I think the rating is the spread out weight.
What is the max weight the seat can handle?

The Vantage seat is rated for 350 pounds maximum. You won't have any capacity problems with a PA-14 :!:

No problems at all. I go about 220. I've seen guys pushing 300lbs in PA 12's.

Copy what Dr.SteelheadCatcher said...your friend's weight is within the capacity rating of the seat.

Thanks guys. We can leave this post open to hear others wear and tear comments after years of use. My seat still looks brand new going one year now (150) :). Shared all your comments to my friend.

I'm 6'6" and come in about 260 these days. I'm in my 3rd season and have not had any issues with my 2014 PA14. I'm guessing I've had it out about 200 times at a minimum in that time.
