I'm trying to build a kayak cart and was wondering what the distance of the scupper posts on the hobie cart are exactly (center to center)? I've seen 11" and 11 3/8". Also, are the posts that go through the scupper parallel to each other or are they slightly inverted in?

The current cart scuppers are oval, so be sure it is within the dimensions of your boat. It can vary a little. The posts are parallel. We have some carts that are a tight fit, so go off the hull... not an existing cart for the best fit.

I purchased me one of these last fall. WOW what a difference it makes over the HD cart. Rolls right over the top of powder sand as well. Mine was a tight fit...The posts center to center measured a little over 3/8's wider than the HD cart if i remember correctly. I simply bent them in a bit and now it will go right in and fall right out....
