My 2015 Pro Angler 17t Black grip pads (hobie calls them) have completely curled up and need to be replaced. It turns out that there are channel grooves under neath them that water had gotten into. I had the Kayak out in the sun the other day and the condensation must have been strong enough to evaporate the watering lift up the pads. (note: the kayak has had lots of use at the beach and sand had made its way under the outer most edges of the pads- water must have crept in that way)

Ive seen lots of discussion on marine mat & seadeck. I can't seem to find the PA17t model #s/costs to just replace the Hobie ones. Is quality the same on all 3? Same 3m backing I would think?

Thank you
