Kayak Storage Pro Angler 14

I am sure this thread has been done to death on this forum but had a question , I will be storing my kayak indoors in my garage and just have a couple of questions:

Can I store the kayak directly on my garage floor ? I already bought these 5/8 inch foam tiles and hope they are sufficient to store the boat take a look tell me what you think, maybe use a couple of noodles on the sides as well if you think its needed.

Second question is I live right near the beach and my basement gets like a damn ice box will this be a problem for the boat if it goes under a certain temp ? might be a stupid question based off the materials but I LOVE this boat possibly more than the wife ... no definitely more

Foam padding on the garage floor is okay...and it's more of a concern with high temp rather than cold temp.
