Hey Folks,

I'm suddenly an empty-nester looking to hit the water again. When I was 11, I sailed with my parents friends at Lake Murray in Ardmore Okla. I don't remember squat about sailing. Anyhow I was wondering if I would gain any more enthusiasm and knowledge if someone took me out on Cheney Reservoir just to ask and answer questions before I go spending the $$$.

I'm from Andover so I spent some time talking to the folks at Action Marine. But I guess I need to go out on a 16 to see what it takes to Rig Sail and derig so that I can head out in confidence....

Randy

last weekend was the Prairie regatta...epic Cheney weather, we decided to head to the beach Saturday when boats started blowing over backwards  (it was starting to gust over 30 mph and we already had three races in)

five local 16's sailed, there's lots of good local knowledge in Fleet 27
