Floyd - If I lived within 50 miles of Surfside I'd join you.
I think you're on the right track and wish you all the success.
Please keep us posted on your progress.

PROOF! We had 20 boats and over 50 people show up for this event all the guest who came out for a ride had a blast! This is proof that recreational or social sailing is key in growing our sport! The group started with 4 guys meeting up on the weekends in the summer and with a little effort on our part we have seen our numbers grow. If you have a Facebook account (if you dont its time to grow up! Lol!) go to the Surfside Sailing page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Surfside-Sailing/138849649515344?ref=ts and look at the photos for the launch party it was amazing. Everyone brought an item so we had enough food to feed a small army and it kept the cost down. I have been getting emails & calls from people thanking fleet 33 and other groups want us to come out and talk to them about cat sailing. Keep it going guys we are on the right track!
