Hey everyone,
I am looking at buying a new set of hulls for my H-16 however, the hulls that I have found (very solid) have a broken pylon. Is this repairable?
If it is where might I find information on repairing such a problem.
Thank you in advance to everyone,
Andre

Repairable? Maybe. But probably not without a lot of work and/or money.

If you want to install a pylon from the old hull, it involves a lot of glass work. The pylons are glassed into hulls at the deck and the bottom of the hull. You will have to cut a hole into the side of the good hull to glass a new pylon in.

If you want to repair the existing pylon, you'll need a welder with a deft touch. Welding thin aluminum is already tricky. You have the added problem of wanting to keep the heat away from the aluminum/glass joint.
