Okay, last night I watched "I shouldn't be alive" on Discovery. It was about these 2 guys that were cousins, and they were on a trek sail down in the Sea of Cortez. Now the reinactment showed them on a Hobie 16. They hit a squall, cracked a hull, pitched and couldn't keep her righted and finally ditched the boat and swam a few hundred yards to shore on a small desert island. The boat came ashore in the middle of the night and the rocked pounded it to pieces. No water, food or shelter other than the tramp and boom and what was in their drybags.
Anyone see this and better yet, does anyone know who these guys are?

Yeah, I watched that, crazy guys, their sails shredded in the winds. I think the boat must have been very old and worn out. That or the guys didn't know what they were doing.

Does anyone know them.
