This may not be practical or cost effective for ten days use, but if you can find two 16' aluminum ladders on Craigs list really cheap, you can make a set of ramps. Basically that's what I'm using now to launch my H21SC now over my seawall and rocks. You'll need to reinforce the sides with a couple of 2x4's and add a set of support legs in the middle, Tywrap some 5/4 planks of that recycled plastic wood to the ladder rungs for a slippey surface and call it done.

Don't forget to get a winch...

Good luck

Very familiar with the hole in the ramp. My dad has backed in too far with the power boat before.

I've never had to launch a sailboat from that side before, so I haven't paid attention to the power lines.

Looks like we'll actually be up there July 13-18 and I always wait until the last minute to pull the boat out. Let me know if you make it up with the wave, I wouldn't mind some sort of informal race.

Same here, the hard way. Launched the H16 from a similar "ramp" and while manually backing the boat to the other side of the "dock" fell into the hole and ended up swimming the boat back. I'm 6'3".

Don't be concerned about tying up the boat ramp while you rig and annoy the fishermen who want quick access. You will be surprised how quickly they will jump in and help you out when the are delayed in launching. It used to bother me that I was holding people up at the ramp, but now I don't care and rely on their help to rig my H16! Hey everything comes at a price!
