Congratulations! Very professional! You've raised the bar to new heights.
Membership???
How many boat owners? Hobies? Non Hobies?
Approx. percentage those who race vs. those that recreational sail?
How many non boat owners. Do most of them crew?
Thanks for sharing this with us.

I think we've got 14 members now. Pretty good considering this is the close of year two. I think anyway

I don't think, other than wives/crews, we have any non-owner members. Most are Hobies, our out of state member has an A-cat and "Flight Risk". There is also a F17, sorta, he just bought the boat in Florida and it hasn't made it up here yet.

Correction, we do have one catless owner, he does have a leaner up on Lake Superior though. He sold his H18 to another fleetmember.

I'd say about half race, maybe a bit less. Our fleet is built more on recreation sailing than anything. We host a regatta a year, but don't have any fleet racing. Realistically when we're on the water, we're racing anyway. It just isn't structured. Our one boatless crew member crew's on Reb's 18SX w/ a square top & spin.

Thanks, Karl. It appears that your fleet is ovecoming a geographical & climatological handicap. Your sailing season has to be short compared to the majority of the states which are south of of you. That's quite an accomplishment.
Do you have non-sailing social gatherings the remainder of the year?
Thanks, again, for sharng this with us.
