One of my favorite spots to sit and watch sailors go by, is the <b>Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, California</b>.
The calm blue waters of the Pacific ocean along with the cool breeze make it almost perfect.
However, it's mind boggling to see some sailors with no sun protective clothing on at all.
The sun is hot here and burning. I would not spend time under such circumstances without wearing a wide brimmed hat and the whole outfit.
