I do not points race and i am usually on a big body of water so we are out for long periods of time 3 to 6 hours. so there is time to go to shore to refuel play and go out. Tunes are great.

Geeez...

Having the player up against the back of my brain would make me a little <cancer> paranoid.

As far as tunes disturbing the "solitude" of sailing....

When I am out on a good day, the wind is blowing (otherwise, why would I be there?), and I doubt if anyone outside a 100 foot radius is going to even know or be able to hear that I have music playing.

And it soooo enhances the experience for me.

Sail with me and you not only get tunes, you get me singing too!

While hanging naked out on the wire ? Sailing solo definitely has its advantages.

This probably sounds really stupid but if the mood strikes I just sing, no batteries required, waterproof, and what the hay, it amuses me (then again I'm easily amused)
