Funny you should mention those key items... Not yet here on order I have the BOX covers on her now LOL... Some of the goodies are on the way still. Glad the Cat box was not on when the ROOKIE hit the stump and taco'ed the trailer cross bar.

Love the photo!!!!

I spent time on that custom bend. All the racers have it. Only certain dealers are certified to make that adjustment and it's guaranteed to make your boat faster!

Ok have to share this one with the group.. Made me laugh HARD! Hobie makes a really nice sail bag, loving my new boat I said why not order one up... It arrived yesterday and looks really great, very fancy lots of zippers and buckles a true testament of Chinese bag design. Not knocking the sail bag Hobie sends with the boat, that one is a nice tube bag it works fine but I wanted the fancy one.

Have the fancy bag out ready to put the sail in the bag and it is too short… Come to find out you have to unzip the two ends of the bag to extend the bag to fit the boom and I say JUST fits not a ½” more to be found. My question is why? The extra work and zippers that will never get used are useless unless you’re using the same bag for smaller sails and I can see that but not to give an extra inch.. I think I am going to wash the bag in Viagra and see if that helps. Hahaha

Hobie has great products but I had to chuckle at this one just a little.... Is it worth it YES! Did it have me scratch the few hairs I have left on my head a little YES. Did it make me smile and laugh YES. All good!

The deluxe bag is universal and I think, only for the H16 is both ends "unzipped" required. You can imagine the complaints we'd get from the guys with shorter booms... "Why is the dang bag soooo long?"

Oh yeah like I said I can see that now but it was to laugh... Was giving Jeremy a ration because I ordered a MAST bag got a comp tip cover, that is way not long enough so I was thinking how I was stuck in the short white guy syndrome with the sail bag.

Now he can call me the rookie hahahaha. THANKS Matt See you on the water.

Hobie USA and Surf City Catamarans ROCK!!! My boat is the best thing to come along in many years. We were BLASTING in 20+ MPH wind yesterday screaming reaches on the ragged edge of the dreaded pitch pole, oh yeah that fast that fun!!!! My boat paid for itself yesterday alone!

Thats all there is to it! 8)
