Hi, all am wondering how to remove comp-tip from a Hobie H14 the mast bent and is it possible to remove the comp-tip from this or not.Anyhelp would be appreciated,Thanks ahead of time.

Yes you can. Drill out the old rivets holding the comptip, Tang and aluminum mast head together. Use a heatgun and heat up the aluminum mast just below the comptip and with the aluminum mast anchored to something (or with the help of another), pull the comp tip out. A little wiggling may be needed. At least that is the way I did it for my H17 :wink:

Wrong spot for this posting but I have a clear anodized uncut H14 mast a couple hours away from TC if you are interested for $200.
