How about some pertinent info on the caper...like DOT (date of theft), location stolen from (more detail), the registration #s (both state and the HIN) and the all important one ...the Police report #. Without all this we might as well help them rig the boat and go sailing.

Do Hobies get stolen often? Been storing mine outside for 9 years, and so far no one has messed with it.

I don't mean to keeping bugging you about numbers and such, but if whomever took it uses a different mainsail how the heck would we know which is which. Was there a police report made? The police dept who might recover it won't give a rat's @$$ what sail is on it...they will need to verify the State registration numbers and or the HIN (hull ID number) on the transom just below the lip. It starts with the letters CCM.

He's rights. Plus we need the State registration number so we can help find it. Its going to be hard to find a boat based on a flashy main sail. If we can look for the registration number on the side of the boat that will help alot

I think they mean the actual serial number on the boat (ccm#####)

Anyway Madge, if I was going to steal a boat, I'd steal your new boat. And all the beer in your fridge, and your hockey stick and all you Rush albums.

My goodness! What a long way to transfer a stolen boat!

Seriously, no idea what this boat is...just happened to see the listing this morning & remembered this post.
