We had trouble with our Toybox's end cap filling with water while backing the trailer into the water when the end cap was on the aft end of the trailer. As a result, we spun the toybox around. The very next time we trailered The Twins, the end cap didn't make it to our destination, accompanied by one of our life jackets. At least the main and Hotstick were still in there. Anyway, we need to find a replacement end cap (Jeremy?). Other than the obvious, does anyone have any suggestions? I will be installing a stainless steel hasp on the next one.

Hello Chris:

I also had a missing end cap for a toybox on my trailer when I bought my Hobie 18 from Rafi all those years ago... (15)
I went to TAP Plastic in San Jose and had a "lid" cut for which I riveted on hinges on the bottom and a clasp for the top to lock it.
When I bought my 20 I transferred the toy box to my current Pacific Trailer where I still use it today.

If you are coming to Round Treasure Island in Alameda next weekend you can see it or I can send you a picture of the trailer
I can send you a picture if you send me your email address

Mine is dwight916 "at" earthlink.net
