Awesome Cover shot!
Awesome Issue!

Division 4 Tiger sailing with a new crew at Oak Harbor, WA.
Skipper is Jim Holstine.
He says his Dad will get the biggest kick from the cover shot on Hotline. Dad started it all back in 1972 with H16 #4007.

The picture was taken by Jan. A professional photographer that comes with her own PRO. Skip runs an excellent regatta and Jan gives us the memories.
Jan/Skip donate all the proceeds from the pictures to our Hobie Youth Program.

Nice tips from Tim in there,work the main upwind and downwind.Don't be a wimp and cleat the main.Wessels you might have to get to the Gym more often to get those soft hands of yours in shape :)

I remember when I bought my new Hobie Cat 14 in 1971 I was supposed to get a lifetime supply of the Hotline. Matt did send me two this year I really enjoyed reading them.

My recollection it that the deal was only for a year. At least when my father bought our first 16 in 1973. Those were also the days when the Hobie Cat company produced the magazine and spent tons of money on the racing program. Those days are long gone.

You can still get the hard copy of the HOTLINE in the mail by joining the Hobie Class Association - it's only $35 a year - http://www.hcanamembers.com

:D Matt, you are correct. Free Hotline for one year. But starting at 1971, I think we got it free for at least ten years. All we had to do was to continue to buy Hobies.
