Just trying to keep them from making dumb mistakes that may have a major effect on their lives, and not making some of the same mistakes that I did. I prefer to keep my life more private.......but these days it seems that everyone wants everyone else to know what there doing. I'm looking for a job.

And yes I hope Linkedin helps me find/get a job. The job finding game has changed after 22 years of having one, and then not having one.

I found out the hard way, later in life that EVERYTHING is about relationships. One can be mediocre and go far with strong relationships, and on the other hand, one can be brilliant and never get anywhere if he doesn't know how to nuture a relationship. One never knows where that next opportunity is going to come from. Options are a GOOD thing.

So Corey, I'm assuming here, but you seem like a younger dude. I have a question about Facebook. First I have to qualify this next statement...High School for me was quite a few years ago and a bit longer for some of these other guys. My question for the youth:
What is the protocol if someone that you can't seem to put into context wants to be your friend, you add them, and they start talking like you were best friends in High School. I'm pretty good with people and names, but I swear for the life of me I can't remember this person; they obviously know me. I tried the obvious like looking at our common friends, we have one. What should I do?

Add me if you like. Jeremy Leonard :D

Thanks for saying that. Actually, I am 51. I am an artist by profession. That and sailing my Hobie keep me feeling young (I'd say, around 27)

I searched your name and there was 313 of you and I do not know which one is you.

As to your question, my first thing I would do is check my yearbook. If you guys WERE friends, he should have wrote something in it I would think.

Actually, I was editor of my High School yearbook so it is a rare classmate that I do not remember.

If he's not in your yearbook that is a perfect in. "Tell me again why you weren't in the yearbook...I can't remember".

Right on Corey! Your youthful enthusiasm for sailing comes through when you type. Hows that

Good idea, I'll check the yearbook!
