If you call Mariner Sails, 800-536-9463, ask Aris Tsamis what size port works best for a Hobie 16. He'll know.

4-5". Not 6". We have contoured versions of the 4 and 5" for the 14 and 16 decks. 4" is pretty tight to work through. Perhaps cut for 4" and if not enough room... go 5.
