I have recently acquired an early 70s model 14' Hobie best I can figure. Unsure of exact year, but the tramp frame says Coast Catamaran Corp. I am trying to restore the hobie to a sailable state. Both of the hulls have small holes/rips in the front, the tramp is nonexistent and the tiller system needs some work. Other than this, the boat seems to be in decent shape. The sails have been in storage so they seem to be in good condition. I was going to try and attach some pictures but not sure how to do it. My idea is to get some dry compartments and intall them on the front ends of each hull to give me inside access to the damaged areas as well as offering a storage compartment. Any and all advice for repairing the hulls is appreciated. [/img]

All the info is here, especially on fixing fiberglass and installing access ports. Try your hand with the search function.

As far as pics, they need to be hosted somewhere like Flickr or other pic hosting site. Then you copy the location when you post a pic.
