If I get a black mesh tramp for my H16 will the hot south Florida sun make it too hot to be comfortable?
Thanks
CP

A black tramp has never felt hot to me in North Texas.... But my definition of "too hot" may be different than yours.

yes, water will spit thru the mesh. I find them not as hot as a solid tramp in the sun.

We installed a new black mesh tramp this summer. I didn't find it hot at all. Wetter...yes. We sail on an inland lake in Michigan and sometimes the ski boats will really kick up some waves. Those waves when passing under our Hobie would literally splash up from the underside and get our rear ends wet! Not a problem on a hot summer day but I don't know if I would like that if sailing in cooler weather. Fortunately we only sail in warm weather. But the black color is not at all hot.
