Pretty subjective question...all humans are different.

The Hobie stuff is sweet.

I voted for other

Best thing, if possible, is to try them on

Near impossible to try them on where i'm at. I am trying to decide between a half harness and a full. much less the brand. I am just recreational sailing adn will spend just as much time off the trap as on. Need something comfortable for both situations BUT can't try anything on untill i get it here and hook it to my mast.

I've tried

(Full) Hobie Full Auto, Hobie Regular, Gull, Gil, Murrays, and an off-brand.

(Half) Murrays and Hobie.

Hobie Full Auto wins in my case. The freedom, comfort, fit and ease of adjustment of the Hobie Full Auto (not the regular) is off-the-charts good. Nothing else came even remotely close to the Full Auto.

Peace,

I have a Gill and North Sails harness's, both full. The Gill is nice, sleek and simple. The North Sails is very nice, with an adjustment for just about everything.

I solo sail mostly and don't plan on being flat out much, so I opted for the magic marine over the Hobie skipper's harness. I find it very comfortable, but just a little hard to adjust. I don't know if I'd find it in while pitch poling, but I like having a quick release hook. I have tried it and it does work.

If you aren't sailing on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
