Was it Hobie? If it was, sounds like a Bravo. Small, 2 place cat, no trampoline. The Wave on the other hand has a tramp, and will easily carry 4, fairly quick, simple to rig, but slows down w/ a load. If you want to carry 4 regularly, and still want to go pretty fast, I would recommend a Getaway.
If you are looking for a true performance boat, then the 16 or larger would be an option, not much passenger capacity though.
