I have to say, I have some fond memories of Marblehead Race Week from the Corinthian Yaht Club. My dad, mom and older brother were fervent racers (110s, 210s, Solings and Etchels). My twin and I side-lined it and hung out at the club.

There was nothing more delightful than seeing all of the colorful Hobie cat sails go by, literally 100 of them. Simply amazing. I've only been a passenger on the large catamarans in the caribbean, and always wanted to learn to sail a Hobie. I took lessons at a young age on Widgeons, Lightnings, Shields. I always, too, wanted to try a Laser and a 505 (gosh it was fun watching them on the trapezes!)

Well, alas, I am content kayaking, but do enjoy watching you all sail by!!

Lisa
