Did it on a 16. Had to have a laugh break before I could right the boat. Pitchpoles happen so fast!

My most awesome trap wire around the forestay was when we were racing my H16. I was acting as crew on this race series. We pitchpoled and I was launched. Somehow I wrapped the stay 360 degrees above the bridle. The boat popped out and we continued on the tack. The thing was, I was in my diaper inches above the water while hanging from the bridle. Neither one of us could stop laughing. We stayed like this until rounding the next mark where I was finally able to unclip and scamper aboard.
