Sailed for 3 hours today in Seattle on Lake Washington in 14-26 mph winds on my 21SE. Two of us on board and scared to let it go unless we were in a lull. 26mph at fastest reach. Water was 41 degrees and air was 50 degrees with sun breaks. Awesome day!

Happy sailing!

Sure hope the wet suits were in good shape. You guys are "hard core" to take a phrase from my former biker days. Now just how much alcohol did you consume before this outing to keep from freezing up??? Makes me wonder about MBounds in Detroit and if he has tried this.

:D Well times have changed. Fleet 95 in Seattle had the "Nut Freezer" series in the 70's. A race every month at local lakes during the winter. Had to skip Green Lake one year, it was frozen over. Best in series was the last race, Sea and Ski. Saturday on Lake Sammamish, Sunday at the Pass, NASTAR downhill, with combined score. No wet suits back then, just dressed warm, and kept tongue off the mast.
